Does your brush head rotate?
Our brush uses sonic cleaning technology and has a high vibration (33,000 per minute) which moves toothpaste around your teeth (through fluid dynamics) lifting plaque and debris off effortlessly.
Does SURI 1.0 have a pressure sensor?
No. Instead we have two gentle (but powerful) brushing modes and medium/soft bristles which provide an effective clean without being harsh on gums or tooth enamel.
How does the pressure sensor work on SURI 2.0?
SURI 2.0 includes a built-in pressure sensor to help protect your gums and enamel.
Can I change the battery?
We have a long-lasting Li-Ion battery which we can replace when the product is sent back to us.
How often should I change my heads?
Dentists recommend changing your brush head every 2-3 months to keep them performing at their best. Frayed or damaged bristles just don’t have the same flex or effectiveness.
What are the dimensions of the brush and case?

How can I remove the mirror mount?
We recommend you use a hairdryer to apply light heat and then scrape the adhesive off with an old credit card or thin object. You can also apply a lubricant such as WD40 to break down the adhesive.
Where are you based?
We are currently based in the UK & USA and offer free recycling in the UK & USA.
Can I repair my brush?
Many electric toothbrushes are sealed and horrible for landfills (or worse oceans) so we designed ours in a modular way so we can easily recover or recycle the components at the end of life.
Where is SURI made?
The brush is made in China and we have partnered with Climate Partner to offset our carbon emissions on each brush (included with each purchase).
How do I keep my SURI toothbrush clean?
We recommend you clean your brush heads weekly by following the steps in our FAQ.
How long does the battery last?
With proper care, the battery in your brush should last 40 days after each charge.
Does the SURI 1.0 travel case charge the brush?
Our case doesn't have a battery in it, so it will need to be plugged in using the SURI charging cable provided.
Does the brush have a timer/notifications?
Our brush has a dentist-recommended 2-minute timer. Gentle haptic feedback every 30 seconds (the vibrations pause for a split-second) let you know when to move on to the next quarter of your mouth.
Why is there a small gap between the head and the body of the toothbrush?
The small gap between the head and the body is an intentional part of the toothbrush design.
Is your brush suitable for braces, dentures, fillings, crowns and veneers?
Yes. You’ll just be enjoying a deeper clean than if you were to use a manual brush.
How long should I charge my brush for?
We recommend charging it overnight, ensuring the contacts are clean and dry beforehand. The light on the brush will turn solid white once fully charged.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. All of our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We don’t test on animals and none of our products are derived from animals.

Can I use a regular charging cable with my SURI case?
For the best performance, we recommend only using the cable that comes with your SURI case.
Can I open the UV Cleaning Case during the cleaning cycle?
No. But you can safely pause it if you need to. The UV light inside the case helps sanitise your brush head - but UV rays can be harmful to your eyes and skin. That’s why the case should stay closed during the cleaning cycle. If you need to open it,
What is the lifespan of a SURI battery?
The battery in your SURI toothbrush should last several years before its performance begins to degrade. The life of the battery is closely linked to how frequently you recharge it.
Can you use a SURI with a pacemaker?
If you have a pacemaker or other implanted device, we always recommend consulting your doctor or device manufacturer prior to use. SURI is compliant with safety standards for electromagnetic devices.
Do you have a referral program?
We don’t currently have a referral program. However we do include a unique discount code with your first order to share with your close friends and family.
Can I take my SURI toothbrush on a plane?
Yes, you can take your SURI toothbrush on a plane. As the brush contains a lithium-ion battery, we recommend carrying it in your hand luggage. With a 40-day battery life and slim travel case - it’s the perfect travel companion.
Can I buy SURI 2.0 without the case?
At launch, S2.0 is only available with the travel case. This helps us keep things simple while we introduce the new model. We do plan to offer S2.0 without the case in the future, and hope to make this available next year.
What’s new about the SURI 2.0 compared to the original SURI brush?
SURI 2.0 builds on everything customers loved about the original, with thoughtful upgrades.
Does the SURI 2.0 travel case charge the brush?
Yes, but only when the case is plugged into a USB power outlet using the charging cable provided.
Are S1 brush heads compatible with S2.0?
Yes. You can use either on both brushes. They fit the same handle, though there may be small differences in colour or feel.
Will my SURI 1.0 travel case or stand work with SURI 2.0?
Yes and no. You can store an SURI 1.0 brush in the new SURI 2.0 travel case, but it won’t charge inside it. Likewise, SURI 2.0 won’t charge inside the SURI 1.0 travel case, though it will fit for storage. The new SURI 2.0 stand also only supports wir

How should I clean my UV case?
Wipe it with a damp cloth only and then dry. Avoid running water or detergents. And keep it dry when charging, this helps prevent overheating or mould.
