SURI 2.0 includes a built-in pressure sensor to help protect your gums and enamel.

How do I turn the pressure sensor on or off?
While the brush is switched on, press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds. The light will flash and you’ll feel a small vibration to confirm the sensor has been switched on or off.

How do I know if I’m pressing too hard?
If you apply too much pressure, the brush will give three quick vibration pulses — that’s your signal to ease up. If the pressure continues, it will remind you again with another set of pulses.

Does the 2-minute timer keep going if the sensor activates?
Yes. The timer still runs for the full 2 minutes. The brushing motion pauses until you reduce pressure, but the timer itself doesn’t stop or reset.
