How does refillable toothpaste work?
Our refillable, airless pump uses a piston system to deliver a precise, mess-free dose every time. Simply insert the refill cartridge into the bottle body and pump to use.
How much toothpaste comes out per use?
Approximately 0.85ml per press (± 0.10ml). One press delivers the right amount — equivalent to a pea-sized portion.
How long does one refill last?
One refill cartridge contains 60ml of toothpaste, which is designed to last one person approximately one month.
How do I add a new refill?
- Remove the cap from the refill bottle.
- Twist off the pump.
- Remove the cap from your refill.
- Screw the refill into the pump.
- Pop it back in.
- Twist to lock.
- Press to dispense (it may take a couple of pumps).
Can I use other toothpaste brands in the dispenser?
No. The SURI Refillable Toothpaste system is uniquely designed to be compatible only with SURI refill cartridges. Using a third-party toothpaste will void your warranty against any defects.
What happens if my refill gets wet?
The refills are made from Vivomer which is designed to be stable and sterile during use, including regular water contact. It will not degrade, dissolve, or change in your bathroom. Biodegradation only begins in compost, soil, or natural water environments, not from household use.
Is it suitable for sensitive teeth?
Yes. In a 7-day consumer trial with over 100 participants, 72% experienced less sensitivity to the cold after brushing with our toothpaste.

Does it contain fluoride?
No, our Restore Gel toothpaste does not contain fluoride.
Instead it uses n-HAp, a mineral that mimics the material your teeth are naturally made from, helping to strengthen enamel, whiten naturally, and protect against cavities. It's a fluoride alternative that's designed to support a healthy oral environment.
Can kids use it?
Customers under the age of 16 are not advised to use the toothpaste, as the safety assessment was only conducted on individuals aged 16+.
Is it vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, it's 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and palm oil free.
Is it SLS-free?
Yes, it contains no sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or other harsh foaming agents.
